OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to provide the students with the skills to perform activities in outdoor and indoor facilities used for recreational purposes.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; natural areas suitable for recreational use, indoor and outdoor areas used for recreational purposes, recreational facility planning principles, outdoor and indoor recreational activities, factors causing users for recreation, restricting factors for participating in recreational activities and coping methods.

Describe elements related with the conservation of natural areas for recreational purposes.
Explain the basic criteria for planning recreational facilities.
Discuss factors that lead to recreational activities or restrict participation with those.
Apply activities in outdoor and indoor facilities used for recreational purposes.
