OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to help students gain the knowledge and skill to explain the motor characteristics that should be developed in the Swimming and to analyze the application of the techniques related with Swimming based on the laws of motion mechanics.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; principles of specific teaching methods, selection of talent and principles, development of specific motor characteristics, specific performance measurement methods, specific strength, speed and endurance trainings, analysis of specific techniques in terms of motion mechanics.

Explain the objectives and application principles of teaching methods of swimming.
Explain the performance measurement methods specific for Swimming.
Explain the motor characteristics that have to be developed in Swimming.
