OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide the students the knowledge and skills to prepare a special training program for the planning and periodicity principles in Basketball.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; factors effecting performance, strength and strength development methods, core training methods, weight training methods, maximal strength and development methods, speed and speed improvement methods, pliometric training methods, durability, aerobic and anaerobic training and training program periodicity, daily, weekly, monthly and annual training programs.

Explain training methods to develop basic motor skills specific for Swimming.
Explain the basic elements that affect performance in Swimming.
Apply training methods to develop basic motor skills specific for Swimming.
Examine the training programs to develop specific training techniques for Swimming and evaluate the appropriateness of its content.
Prepare a special training program for Swimming in accordance with the planning and periodic principles.
