OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to provide students with the ability to analyze scientific research conducted in the field of sports and to interpret the results of the research.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course includes basic concepts related to science, literature review techniques, research process and methods, data collection methods, universe and sampling, summarizing and interpretation of scientific researches.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain definitions and concepts related to scientific research methods
Label and differentiate the scientific research methods in sport
Explain scientific research findings both verbally and in writing effectively.
Select ways to collect / acquire information appropriate to research methods and techniques
Examine the scientific research conducted in the field of sports and interpret the results of the research.
