OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to provide students with the ability to practice recreational activities involving play and cultural activities.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the concept of play, concept of culture and leisure time, social value of play, play in Turkish culture, recreational games in Turkish culture, plats according to their purpose and areas of use.

Describe the concepts of play, culture and leisure time
Classify the types of play.
Explain the relations between play, culture and leisure time
Explain recreational plays in Turkish culture.
Explain the importance of play events and cultural activities in terms of recreational practices.
Apply recreational activities that involve play and cultural activities.
