OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide students to gain the knowledge to examine the functions of recreation leaders and to discuss solutions to possible problems that recreation leaders may encounter during organizations.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course includes; Concepts related to recreation and leadership, Key features for leadership, Leadership vision and mission, Leadership types, Discussing the differences between leader and manager, Major leadership theories, New leadership approaches, Leadership functions, Leadership and Change, Leadership in organizations, Current problems of recreation leadership, Leadership in recreational activities and organizations, Leadership in recreational activities and organizations

Defines the concepts related to career management
Describes the importance of the Human Resources department within the organization in career planning.
Describes the characteristics of the personnel providing the workforce in the recreation facilities.
Applies recruitment criteria and interview techniques in the human resources department.
Analyzes the processes related to the efficient use of manpower of the enterprises in the field of recreation, meeting the expectations of the employees and ensuring their continuous development.
