OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objectives of the course is to help students gain knowledge to interpret legal process in the framework of national and international sports law regulations.
Contents of the Course Unit: Content of the course include definitions and concepts related with sport law, sports organization in Turkey and the establishment of ministry, legal nature and hierarchical relationship of sport organizations, establishment of Turkish Football Federation, its characteristics and differences from other organizations, introduction of the sport clubs, working conditions and regulations for athletes, general view of solutions of sport law discrepancies, examination of sport clubs and legislation.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define the concepts related to the field of sports law.
Explain the legislative articles in cases of legal disputes that may arise during sport activities.
Select solutions for legal discrepancies involving sportive activities.
Interpret the framework of national and international sport law legislation.
