OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | The objective of the course is to help students gain the knowledge to discuss the economic problem areas of the Turkish sport and the economic policies of the governments and its effects on the sport economy. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include; concept of economics and sport, goals of production in the sports sector, sports services and target audience, general rules of economy, economic macro objectives, local governments and sports, politics and economy, economic policy, regulatory bodies of sports activities, financial bases of sports economy, on-site examination of the economic structure of a sports organization, the place of sports in Turkish economic policy, hosting a guest in order to discuss the economic problems of the Turkish sport, and current sport economy politics. |
