OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to explain the principles of technical drawing which a special field is of specialization and develop hand skills of students by making practices in this field. In addition, teaching the basic information about the subjects such as scale, plan, projection, isometric perspective, and gain technical drawing skills about restoration and conservation applications.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include basic technical drawing knowledge and materials used in technical drawing.

Explain historical development process of technical drawing with examples.
Recall technical drawing principle and rules.
Recognize the tools used in technical drawing.
Interpret sample drawings.
Describe cross-section and projection methods.
Draw plan and cross-section drawing in 1.20 and 1.100 scales.
Recognize the symbols and legends used in technical drawing.
