| Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to provide students the philosophy, values, principle of knowledge and functions of social service as a profession and a discipline, the role and functions of authorities of social service in fulfilling these functions and to introduce basic contents of social service as a profession and a discipline. | 
| Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include keynotes and fields of social service, basics of social service concept, groundings in relation to the knowledge of social service. |
