OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
This course aims to analyze social and cultural effects of technology and convey the social responsibility and ethical values that are needed today. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Contents of the course include the examination of the concept of ethics and problematic, journalism, public relations and advertising with the special emphasis on how social media networks change daily life, how the viewers will be transformed into producers through concepts such as "collective mind", or "participatory culture ” within the framework of communication fields. |

Describe the reflections of the basic concepts of culture in digital media. |
