Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts and principles of advertising to the students. In this context, the advertising mechanism and the advertising process are described, and national and international advertising is exemplified.
Content: Definition and historical development of advertising concept, advertising objectives and functions, types and classification of advertisements, social and economic aspects in advertising, location and function of advertising in product positioning, integrated marketing communication and advertising relations, new approaches in advertising. In advertising agencies, organizational structure, advertising campaign formation process, creativity incentives, efficiency measurement are among these topics.
