Objectives and Contents

Objectives: With this course; It is aimed to teach the basic principles of modern analysis methods, the basic components of the devices used, their properties and working principles, to have information about the analytical applications of the methods and to comment on the analysis outputs for the analysis of substances.
Content: Introduction to instrumental analysis, beam and its properties, electromagnetic wave spectrum, interaction of light with matter, spectroscopy, spectrophotometer device and its components, atomic absorption spectrometry, atomic emission spectrometry, ultraviolet-visible molecular absorption spectrometry, instrument calibration, turbidimetry, refractometry, polarimetry molecular luminescence spectrometry (fluorescence and phosphorescence), general information about chromatography, chromatographic methods, mass spectrometry, electroanalytical methods.
