| Objectives: | This course aims to provide a safe working environment in the laboratory, to teach the principles of green chemistry, to evaluate quality management systems and to develop the necessary approach for implementing this understanding in practice, to interpret how chemical reactions occur, and to teach organic structures. |
| Content: | The course covers laboratory safety and green chemistry, laboratory quality management systems, radioactivity and radiation safety, gases and their industrial applications, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry and electrochemical energy sources, hydrocarbons and their reactions, alcohols, aldehydes and ketones and their reactions, carboxylic acids and their derivatives, and the reactions of amines and amino acids. |
