Objectives: The goals of the course: To identify power electronics components, To learn, semiconductor switches, pulse width modulation (PWM), continuous-discontinuous conduction, transient-steady state conditions, To analyze and design DC-DC switch mode converters, To learn inductor and transformer modelling, To analyze and design transformer isolated converters, To learn DC-AC converter types, To learn how to make CAD simulations of switch mode converters, To have knowledge about power electronics field applications.
