AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: This course aims to understand the basic principles of dynamics, learn solution methods to problems of motion and accelerating systems, and model problems relating to energy, momentum, and vibration.
İçerik: The course contains vector mechanics, kinematics of particles, rectilinear and curvilinear motion system particles/linear, plane and motions/rotations about a fixed axis, Newton's Laws, the kinetics of particles; Kinematics principle of work and energy, conservation of energy, impulse, and momentum, mechanical vibration.

To be able to understand basic engineering mechanics and principles of dynamics
To be able to select and use an appropriate coordinate system to describe particle motion
To be able to formulate dynamic models in accelerating frames
To be able to identify and exploit situations in which integrated forms of the equations of motion, yielding conservation of momentum and/or energy/or vibration for the particles
