AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: 1- To provide information about vector algebra, force vector and moment vector and operations related to them. 2- To provide information about the balance of the particle and rigid body in the plane and space. 3- To provide information about the first moments of areas and lines, geometric centers and centers of gravity. 4- To provide information about balance, bond forces and internal forces in structures such as cages, frames and machines. 4- To provide information about area and mass moments of inertia.
İçerik: Fundamental concepts and principles of mechanics. Particle statics. Rigid bodies, equivalent force systems. Equilibrium of rigid bodies. Distributed forces, center of gravity. Analysis of structures, trusses, frames and machines. Internal forces in rods and cables. Friction. Distributed forces, moments of inertia. Virtual work method.

Students who successfully pass this course: Will have information about vector algebra, force vector and moment vector and operations related to them.
