AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: This course aims to develop students' listening and analyzing skills and to practice consecutive interpreting using note-taking techniques.
İçerik: This course covers the basics of consecutive interpreting, note-taking techniques, symbols and abbreviations used in note-taking, consecutive interpreting practices, community interpreting, types of community interpreting.

Students can analyze the conversation they listen to and tell it in their own words.
The student develops the ability to hear what is spoken in Consecutive Interpreting.
Summarizes conversations by taking notes.
Synthesizes information in short-term memory with notes.
Formulates it in the target language by performing consecutive translation.
