OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Main purpose of this course is to teach students the medical and radiological terms of systems such as Locomotor System, Respiratory System, Gastrointestinal System, Central Nervous System, Circulatory System, Urogenital System and to distinguish, pronounce, write and be able to use the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies.
Contents of the Course Unit: Introduction to Medical Terminology; Basic Definitions and Terminology Related to Human Structure, Reading rules in Medical Terminology, Inclusion letters, prefix, suffix, root structures, Terminology in Blood and Blood Forming Organs, lymph and immune system, Cardiovascular System, Respiratory system, the digestive system, Urinary Tract, Reproductive System, Nervous system and Psychiatric Disorders, Endocrine and Metabolism disorders and Locomotor System

Human Anatomy Related Medical Terms are introduced and used (cognitive).
Motion And Nervous, Respiratory, Digestive, Cardiovascular Systems Terms, Psychiatric Disorders related terms and Terminology of Blood and blood forming organs analysis are introduced (cognitive).
Eye, Ear-Nose-Throat and Urinary, genital and endocrine systems terms are introduced (cognitive).
