OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To provide general information about surgical diseases and procedures.
Contents of the Course Unit: The history of surgery, asepsis in surgery, fluid-electrolyte shock, surgical infections, wound classification, types of burns, blood diseases, preoperative period, intraoperative period, anesthesia, postoperative period, and surgical procedures for trauma patients.

They know the procedures that require surgery.
It classifies surgical diseases.
He/She knows the surgical methods for different diseases according to medical specialties.
It evaluates organ transplantation surgery.
They are familiar with specialized surgical procedures.
The operating room services team successfully utilizes information and communication technologies, along with the computer software required for this field.
