OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı; psikolojinin gelişimini tarihsel bir süreç içerisinde incelemek ve günümüz psikoloji anlayışının nasıl oluştuğunu bir bütün olarak kavrama fırsatının sağlanmasıdır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin içeriği; "1)Psikoloji tarihi çalışmaları 2)Psikoloji üzerindeki felsefi ve fizyolojik etkiler 3)Yapısalcılık 4)İşlevselcilik: Kuruluşu ve Gelişimi 5) Uygulamalı Psikoloji 6)Davranışçı Psikoloji 7)Gestalt psikolojisi 8)Psikanaliz 9)Psikolojide çağdaş düşünceler" konularından oluşmaktadır.

Yeni oluşan psikolojik fikirleri ve ekolleri yorumlar.
Felsefe ve psikoloji arasındaki temel farklılaşmanın nedenlerini tartışır.
Psikolojinin temel kuramlarının temel varsayımlarının ortaya çıktığı dönemde dünyada gözlenen politik, ekonomik ve bilimsel akımların etkilerini yorumlar.
İnsan davranışları ve zihinsel süreçlerinin psikoloji tarihi içinde hangi yaklaşımlar ya da kuramlardan etkilenmiş olabileceği belirler.
