OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı gelişim psikolojisi alanını ve temel kuramlarını tanıtmak; bebeklikten yetişkinliğe gelişim evrelerini biyolojik, davranışsal, bilişsel ve psikososyal gelişim açısından incelemektir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin içeriği; "insan gelişimindeki biyolojik, bilişsel, sosyal süreçler ve kişiliğin doğumdan yetişkinliğe kadar, temel kuramlar ve görgül araştırmalar" konularından oluşmaktadır.

Doğum öncesinden başlayarak yaşam boyu değişim ve sabitlikleri izleyen gelişim psikolojisi alanını ve temel kuramlarını açıklar.
Bebeklik, erken çocukluk, okul öncesi evrelerini biyolojik, davranışsal, bilişsel ve psikososyal gelişim açısından karşılaştırır.
Eleştirel okuma ve analitik düşüncelerini kullanır.
Gelişim psikolojisinde araştırma yöntemlerini uygular.
Bebeklik, erken çocukluk ve orta çocukluk dönemlerinde yaşa uygun fiziksel, bilişsel ve sosyoduygusal özellikleri açıklar.
