OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to describe risk and crisis and how to deal with risk and crisis situations, to summarize the steps of crisis communication and to analyze past practices of crisis communication.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects as in identifying crises, classification of risk theories, identifying the concept of trust and examination its importance, explanation how to build trust with discourses and explanation of processes of decision making and implementation.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Tell at least 3 features of crisis communication
Find the causes of social media-based crises by following social media channels
Classify the reasons for the occurrence of risks
Example failings in crisis communication programs by reviewing past events
Strategically organize how to reach out to the stakeholder and communication channels in the event of a crisis
Compare and analyze the risk theories
