OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is; to be able to comprehend the concept of social economy, which is an economy based on cooperation, mutual aid and solidarity, in many ways, and to recognize the increasing number of social and solidarity economy actors.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of this course is; organization of production, distribution and distribution theory, development and growth, solidarity economies, income distribution, social services, full employment and the fight against poverty, cooperatives, the distinguishing features of cooperatives from other companies, the situation of cooperatives today such as the economic consideration of social issues.

1-Provides awareness on regional and local development and social integration. 2-Gain the ability to evaluate sustainability and inclusive development issues. 3-Provides in-depth information on cooperatives, associations and foundations. 4-Develops public awareness towards democracy, freedom, responsibility and solidarity. 5-Fair income distribution creates awareness in the formation of an organizational form related to sustainable economic activities.
