OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
The aim of this course is to cover the building construction principles, methods and to design and solve problems of these methods which take place during all stages of construction. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Following topics are introduced in this class; site construction & earthwork, structural considerations for building mass, floor system design, hot-shaped steel (HSS) construction, heavy timber construction, wood light frame construction, roof construction, door & window, floor finishing, wet area design, wall finishing, staircase, MEP engineering considerations. |
