OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Provide information about the structure and behavior of systems, structures under loads of internal forces and displacements occurring metarıals how calculate.structrual carrier systems analysis and design theory and practice to provide a detailed way.
Contents of the Course Unit: External influences, balance equations, section forces the system according to the account of the constant load, isostatic systems, relocation of the account, indeterminate systems, power method, cross method.

Students digest the basic assumptions of the structural mechanics.
Students have an ability to establish mathematical model of the structures.
Students gain an ability to analyze different types of structures (stable/unstable, determinate/indeterminate, etc.)
Students have an ability identify, formulate, and determine stability of structures; external reactions, internal forces, and deflection for determinate structures.
Students are able to use energy methods.
