OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to comprehend the limits of professional responsibility in the management and operation of health institutions, to learn and apply ethical values.
Contents of the Course Unit: Ethical values, ethical responsibility, ethical dilemma, ethical decision making, administrative responsibility, social responsibility, strict responsibility

To be able to define the concepts related to ethics
To be able to create ethical awareness in health management and professional responsibility studies and practices,
To be able to discuss the necessity of the health manager to be an advocate of ethical values in health-related research and practices,
Categorizing the ethical problems faced by healthcare administrators,
Being able to synthesize the conceptualization of ethical values within the scope of professional responsibility,
To be able to design service models and good practices in which ethical values are applied in health management.
