OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
It is aimed to define basic information about health insurance and the role of insurance in health financing, to examine country practices, and to evaluate the development of private and social health insurance in Turkey. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Fundamental Financing Models in Health and the Place and Importance of Health Insurance, Concepts of Health Insurance, Types and Classification, History of Private Health Insurance in Turkey, Technical and Market Analysis, Distribution Channels, Basic Legislation in Private Health Insurance, Basic Legislation in General Health Insurance, Organization in Health Insurance Structure, Underwriting and Production Processes, Relevant Legislation, Organizational Structure in Health Insurance, Underwriting and Production Processes, Relevant Legislation 2, Compensation and Provision Process in Health Insurance, Relevant Legislation, Network and Contract Management in Health Insurance, Relevant Legislation, Sustainability in Health Expenditures, Health Services Reimbursement Methods and Financial Management of Chronic Diseases, General Health Insurance Process and Complementary Health Insurances in Turkey. |
