OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to develop the use of computers in hospitals, to gain operational knowledge and skills of hospital information management systems and their functions, material, supply and personnel management systems.
Contents of the Course Unit: To teach the screen modules based on the authorization of the users in the automation program, to facilitate the work of both patients and users by using the automation program. Visual and practical transfer of statistics and archiving screens on the program.

To be able to describe the development and characteristics of health information systems,
To be able to list the patient admission program modules,
To be able to define the usage areas and purposes of hospital automation systems
Comparing the exemplary applications of electronic patient records in Turkey,
Classifying the departments that make up hospital information systems
To be able to explain data collection rules and methods of ensuring data quality
