OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Examines the maturity and old age period from the perspective of lifelong development in line with what has been learned in Psychological Aging Theories-I course. Discuss the findings and issues related to aging.
Contents of the Course Unit: To gain advanced theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to psychology.

Learning the importance of social support in old age
Awareness about the problems of old age
Learning how to communicate with elderly people and ways of psychological help
Recognizing the effects of elderly abuse,
