OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to have the students gain the knowledge and ability on the teaching methods of specific technical-tactical applications, to interpret the processes related to coach and athlete communication and to evaluate the appropriateness of the content of the training program in the infrastructural teams of students, school teams or clubs.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; Observation of training organization, Observation of contents and practices of daily training plan, Observation of warm-up and cool down exercises specific to sports branch, Observation of communication between institution management-coach-guardian and athlete, Observation of applications related to competition organization (preliminary preparation- during and after competition), specific technical-tactical applications and observation of teaching methods.

Explain the functioning of training organization with all aspects.
Explain the functioning of competition organization with all aspects.
Examine the teaching methods on specific technical-tactical applications.
Interpret processes related with trainer and athlete communication.
Evaluate the the content and operation of the training program in terms of training periodization.
