OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to help students to gain the knowledge to analyze the effects of urbanization on recreational participation, tourism, social and cultural life, and discuss the results of urbanization on human life.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course includes; Urbanization definitions, urban theories, Urbanization causes and working life, urbanization in the world, urbanization in Turkey, urbanization phenomenon of urbanization and leisure relationship, urbanization positive and negative results, urban life cycle and recreational participation, the impact of urbanization, sports, the impact of urbanization, tourism, It covers the relationship between urbanization and art-cultural activities.
