OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim is to provide information about the supply and demand dynamics, economic regulations, and costs of air transportation by examining the operations of airline companies; in addition, it aims to train managers for the sector through teaching elements such as positioning, fleet, and schedule planning.
Contents of the Course Unit: The course content includes topics such as airline transportation services; supply and demand in air transportation; classification and positioning of airline companies; economic regulations in airline management; costs in airline companies; network structures of airline companies; airline fleet and schedule planning; airline partnerships; and low-cost airline companies.
