OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | The aim of this course is to enable the students to learn the process of control of automatic airplane wiring lines by establishing advanced production processes, programming machines, production machines and lines. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Analysis of automated systems used in advanced production processes, Interpretation of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical schematics and their combinations, Fundamentals of production automation, Pneumatic automation, Hydraulic automation, Electrical and electronic automation, Integration of flexible systems: Cells, lines and flexible production systems, Computerized manufacturing (CIM ), Energy forms used in automatic, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, Electrical equipment, technical safety issues, Energy and information flows in electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic sub-assemblies, Computing systems, Commissioning, troubleshooting and repair. |

Analyze the technical knowledge of the drawings to obtain the data defining the components to be produced. |
Apply validation and control techniques to ensure technical specifications are fulfilled. |
Perform calibration and adjustment and interprets calibration certificates for instruments and verification equipment. |
Regulate the quality control guidelines on the final component, which are acquired by advanced production processes, based on technical documents and in accordance with current regulations. |
