| Objectives: | The aim of the course is to examine the basic dynamics of modern Middle East politics in the historical process and to explain the policies/perspectives of the countries/societies of the region in regional and international developments. |
| Content: | The content of the course covers the political, social and economic structure of the Middle East, the spread of Islam and the developments in the Ottoman period, the transformation of the region during and after the World Wars, and what has been experienced in the region since the Cold War. |
