The aim of the course is to inform the students about the economic, political, and military policies of the East Asian region and to provide the students with the ability to critically evaluate the policies of the countries in the region. |

Contents of the course include politics, foreign policy, competition, inter-conflicts among the regional countries as well as the role of superpowers in the region. |
