The priority of Sports Management Undergraduate Program is to make all necessary administrative desicions and apply to approach their aims including establishment and improvement of the service departments.
Our objective is to raise sport managers who intarnalize sport management in efficiency and rationalism, In that context, to make able to obtain maximum yield with minimum effort and result-oriented to decrease, besides who are aware of the article 59 in the Constitutions of the Turkish Rebuplic: “The state makes provisions to improve physical and mental healt of the citizens of Turkey in any age, promotes to spread sports to the community.The state protects the prosperous sportsman.”
The business field of our alumni are occured public (The Head of General Directorate of Sports and its provincial organizations), local administrations, sports club and non-govermental organizations such as foundations.
Being able to take part in all sportive organizations with the changes and developments in sportive services today, as well as the significant increase in incomes in some sports branches, especially football and basketball, and the creation of a "market" by sports events in this way, and the continuous increase in "interest in sports events" around the world. We can say that the importance of this program increases every year due to the increasing need for qualified people.
The Sports Management program can be a suitable choice for people who want to take part in sports clubs and youth and sports directorates, as well as those who aim to work in different departments such as marketing, public relations, human resources, finance, management, sponsorship and event management.
There are variable career opportunities for prospect sport managers in the dynamic and progressive sport industry such as “Efficiency Management Firms”, “Sports Marketing Firms”, “Commercial Gymnasiums”, “Health and Welfare Departments of Companies”, “Visual and Written Media Organizations”, “Sponsporship Services of Companies”, “Sport Departments of Local Administrations ”, “The Ministry of Youth and Sports and its other departments”, “Tourism Sector and Hotels”, “Sports Clubs that have ameteur and Professional Branch”, “National and international Sports Federations” .
Horizontal transfer can be made in the equivalent schools and departments of vocational schools in the YGS-5 score type.
Universities, Faculty of Sports Sciences and Schools of Physical Education and Sports, Sports Management Departments, Business Administration, by taking the DGS exam, vertical transfer can be made according to the relevant score type.
