| Objectives of the Course Unit: |
It provides students with information about regulations, legislation, and the structure and operation of ambulances and emergency services |
| Contents of the Course Unit: |
Basic Concepts Related to Health and Illness, Emergency Medicine and the Development of the Healthcare System, Structure of the Healthcare System and Health Indicators in Türkiye, Legislation Regarding Emergency Medical Services in Türkiye (ambulance, emergency department, operation, job descriptions), Types of Records in Emergency Medical Services, Communication in Emergency Medical Services, UMKE (National Medical Rescue Team). |
