AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: This course aims to provide students with an introduction to sociological theories by supporting their sociological viewpoint with theories; to have a theoretical basis for future studies in the field of sociology.
İçerik: Contents of the course include; lectures and presentations about urban and daily life, Chicago school, socio-spatial wishes, city dwellers, central and environment relations, right to the city, globalization and urban, security and urban transformation.

Knows the theories about the city
Defines the concepts of the city in a theoretical way, gives examples of theories
Explains sociological facts from theoretical comparisons
Relates sociological concepts to theory
Relates theoretical structures and social reality.
