OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to instill in students a sense of professional and ethical responsibility.
Contents of the Course Unit: The course content includes an overview of advertising, concepts of ethics and professional ethics, professional ethics in advertising, criticisms of advertising, self-regulation in advertising, the Advertising Self-Regulation Board, the Fair Advertising Supervisory Board, ethical principles in advertising (decency, honesty, truthfulness), ethical principles in advertising (comparisons, testimony, defamation and humiliation), ethical principles in advertising (protection of privacy, misuse of commercial reputation), ethical principles in advertising (imitation, safety considerations, recognition of advertisements), ethical principles in advertising (children and young people), ethical principles in advertising (commercial activities), and ethical principles in advertising (special services and specific materials, responsibility).
