OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim is for students to learn new approaches in the field of marketing as a result of digital technology and to equip them with the fundamental strategic knowledge of these approaches.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course covers the following topics: marketing, digitalization, digital marketing, digital marketing mix elements, website and marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, search engine marketing, content marketing, mobile marketing, influencer marketing, viral marketing, digital public relations, digital advertising, storytelling, and transmedia.

Explains marketing approaches used in digital environments. Defines social media marketing. Provides examples of public relations and advertising activities in digital environments. Lists important aspects of digital marketing. Describes new marketing technologies.
